St. Mark’s Community Garden

You are invited to get your hands dirty!

What is a Community Garden?

A place where the community shares in the work and the fresh, healthy produce

Who can participate?

All ages and abilities are welcome and no experience is necessary

How can I participate?

Fill out and submit the Garden Partner Form, indicating the level of involvement you would like.

What is a partner’s garden contribution?

$10 per year per family

What is a partner’s commitment?

Work at least 2 hours per month on a schedule

What are the rewards and benefits?

We share the work and we share the healthy harvest with our community, which allows us a greater opportunity to get to know and love our neighbors inside and outside the church, and the garden can serve as an introduction to our church family

Is there a mission opportunity?

Some of the produce grown will be used for our Stretching Out Our Hands Ministry

What are we growing?

  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumbers
  • Peppers
  • Lettuce
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Zucchini
  • Squash
  • Beans
  • Onions
  • More to come!

There is still a need for Garden Partners! The growing season has just begun, and there is plenty of time for you to get involved. Contact Beth Duncan or Cathey Terry at communitygarden@stmarksraleigh.org.
