When the storms of life are raging, what are we to do? Let’s face it, storms hit. Storms don’t discriminate. Inevitably most, if not all of us, will be hit by the waves of misfortune, distress, misery, suffering, and loss. It is not a matter of IF but WHEN. In our text for Sunday, while out for a night sail, a nasty storm strikes the boat carrying Jesus and the disciples to the other side of the sea, Mark 4:35-41. The disciples’ response is one of great FEAR rather than FAITH even though Jesus is in the boat with them. What about us? What is our response to the storms of life?
